Hi
Any ideas on how to source rain leaks which are saturating the space, both
sides, behind the seat belt roller, on the back window. It is a softtop,
1990. Could it be running along the door rubber? Any ideas please as it smells
bad!!

Penny have a look at all the drain points to make sure that they are not
blocked. There are one each beside the seat belt pillars (between the pillars
and the outside), you will see a hole about the size of a ten cent piece,
gently push a piece of wire down it(an unfolded coat hanger is good) this
should clear any blockage there may be. Along each side of the sills under the
car there are also some drain holes just push a small screw driver into each
slot to clear any thing that may be blocking them. It is also a good idea to
have a good look at your door rubbers, soft top rubbers including the one that
runs along the top of the windscreen frame as all of these are designed to
take the water away and dump it on the road, also you may want to get an auto
trimmer to have a look at your rain rail this could be damaged as well.
If you are in Wellington I could have a look at it for you or if you are near
Hamilton get a hold of Ross Campbell he could help especially with parts that
may be needed.

Dave.

Give me a call Penny on 04) 972-5755 or 027 281-6903 if you get stuck and I
would be happy to come over you never know this fine weather may stay around
for a while so it would be an enjoyable top down drive over.

Cheers,
Dave.
