Well, I am now in possession of a brand new shiny Loch Stewart cold-air box. Just before I cut a 3-inch hole at the top of the fire-wall, would you have any thoughts on how this may affect structural integrity - it is a rather large hole after all.
Thanks

You should be fine, that panel is not load bearing and I've no comments from
WOF people about the, slightly smaller, hole I cut

It is my understanding from reading about various cold air systems that structural integrity is not compromised at all by such a hole.

You will love the Loch intake.
No issues at all with the hole. In fact you don't need much of the panelling
there at all.
Did you get his exhaust as well?
Cheers

What did you do with the water bottle ?
Does it suck up much water or does this drop out the bottom of the filter
box ?

I did not buy the exhaust as well - Mr Stewart would not sell it without looking at the car - he said that he has encountered enough variations in his time to not be confident that whatever he sold me would fit.

Hi David, if possible, could you take photos of before and after and do an
article re price, where you got it from and fitting for the Top Down Mag as
a lot of members would be interested.
Thanks Nigel (Editor)
