I think they only started calling them "Bullet" raodsters with the currently released version with the M2 headlights. The same firm has been making them a smaller scale for at least five years, but previous versions (like the one for sale) were a bit more basic. They still had the totally rebuilt front end (with those ugly Chrysler/Dodge Neon headlights) and drivetrain, but the rest of the body was standard mx5. They also used to offer different engine packages. I have a old "Fast Fours" mag with a 13B turbo powered version of this car and in the article they also mentioned 20B packages. MMmmmmm that would be tasty.

Anyone who would pay $118,000 (australian) for that yellowy orange
mostrosity is certifiable. I will happily sign the papers. Notwithstanding
the undoubtably impressive performance. IMHO etc. ; )
