Time to upgrade my brake pad's but I'd like to try something a bit
better than the factor standards. Any suggestions? I'd like ones that
produce less brake dust, hate cleaning the mags u know.
Any help is always appreciated
Scott.

I have a set of genuine US factory pads for sale, unused. These are better
than locally available factory pads apparently. If you want performance pads,
try Bendix Ultimates, these are the same as Axxis Ultimates that the US forums
rave about. Most upgrade pads will dust though. I have Carbon metallic pads at
present from Les Hunter in ChCh. They don't dust but need some warmth to work
well and they don't like wet weather much. Stop like hitting a wall though.

Scott, if you're thinking of trying the EBC green pads I wouldn't recommend them. I've had them fitted for about six months now, and they are nothing special. There is no warm up problems and their claim of no brake dust is almost correct (still a little bit) but they squeak quite a bit and braking performance isn't improved enough to justify the price. I should have checked the reviews in Miata.net before I bought them as there seems to be plenty of poor reviews about them.
