Exhaust silenced

Hi Gary, I didn't actually give them the chance to fail my exhaust. I had it booked in for the WOF at an exhaust shop, so I just took it in and said "I need a warrant and whatever is necessary to make the exhaust pass". They just added a small muffler in the space where the Cat used to be, removing the resonator that was there. I now have the new muffler, followed by a COBY "hotdog" style muffler, then the straight thru stainless barrel muffler with 3.5" tip on the end. The "pre-WOF" setup was very loud though. Much louder than any other modified mx5 I've seen. It is now about as loud as most of the "off the shelf" replacement exhausts you'd get from Racing Beat, Jackson Racing etc .
On the plus side though, I can now actually hear the whine of the supercharger, and performance actually seems better!! Perhaps the old system was a bit too free flowing.
