Soft top maint

Can someone please tell me what the best stuff to protect the soft top is. I
have been told anything from bees wax to shoe polish. In faded areas on the
inside surface can you use black shoe polish?

I'm using 303 Protectant on the exterior, it's better than any of the other
vinyl coatings I've used, also very good for plastic rear windows, removes
most marks. I wouldn't use any hydrocarbon based product on the interior, I
don't think it's any good for the stitching and glued seams.
