hi Ken just curious, what's not to like about the style bar ? What sort is it anyway? I have the factory brace bar, it works pretty well - the car felt like jelly on the motorway without it ! Interested in some kinda swap ? BTW - Al's Upholstery will sew in a new window for you, no probs! cheers,Jeff

Try Al's upholstery and there's also an outfit in Grey Lynn, can't think of
their name.
I bought a complete top for about $1700, don't know how much a window is.

According to the message on the club site, (20 Feb,2003) 1989-1997 black top
(with plastic window) was $850.00 + GST. The back window alone was $298.00 +
GST. 1998 on (black) was $903.91 + GST. I assume this includes a glass window.
I understand the later type can be made to fit the earlier car. Might be worth
checking your local Mazda dealer for prices.

We imported two roofs from the U.S.
One sunfast tan and one twillfast(Standard on Aston Martins BMW Z8 etc) in black.
The total cost was $2000.

If you fancy this route, we used www.duettomotors.com and got great service and a great price. They do glass windows too.

Cheers

Auckland Auto trimmers in Grey Lynn. I think it cost about $300.
They are quite a big outfit and are really professional.

We're both pleased with our new tops.
