totally gratuitous rant about excellent service.
ok - i know at least some of you will understand this.
i'm going to go on about very little - so be warned...
over the past 20 years of car ownership - i've had a lot of my cars
repainted - some in happy and some in not-so-happy times.
i won't go into all the sordid details - but probably like some of you
- i had given up on a panel beater being as fussy as i am about my car.
i have never seen anything close to the level of service or quality
i've just received from Accent panel and paint - in east st - newton auckland
the owners name is greg by the way - 09-377-4838
these guys are insane.
truly frightening in the attention to detail and quality of the job.
those of you who saw my poor dejected red 5 - XL5612 at the dent day
can attest to the fact that it wasn't the most pampered of cars.
the damn thing looks NEW - every panel aligned perfectly and the paint
is magnificent - even 2 pack inside the engine bay (my front subframe
was replaced)
all in all - i've never seen a better job - or been treated as well.
...just had to tell someone who would understand...

Why have we not received a response to this burning question(s)?
Please don't keep us in suspense any longer Ken: did you repaint the whole
car and how much did it cost?

No comment Ken... other than to say thanks for a
recommendation. I just last week asked for someone who could do what you
have described. On the other hand sharing your apprehensions about panel
beaters and based on the nature of your business (MacWreckers) I hope they
did their standard quality of work and didn't give you "special" treatment.

The a BIG thanks for the information! Now Ken, be honest with the "clan".
You must have some idea of what the "insurance company" agreed to pay
