Seat Fixing Help

Post by Amanda Freeman » Thu Nov 11, 2004 2:27 pm

Does anyone knows who in Auckland would help fix a tan leather drivers
side seat which has torn (thru wear and tear I presume) down the
seam... would it be best to get an upholsterer to fix it, or try to get
another seat all together from the wreckers... it's for a 91 BRG Roadster...
Thx
Amanda

Seat Fixing Help

If it is leather and has not torn, just come apart, it can probably be
fixed, I don't know who could do it, but why not ring up someone like Team
McMillan BMW who deal with a lot of leather seats, and find out who does
their repairs, they are bound to know someone good.

You really can't go past Al's Upholstery... I've watched him rebuild
seats and he's an artist - and he knows MX5s inside out.

We got our tan seats fixed at Retro in Grey Lynn. The results were
excellent.

They're in the phone book.
