Hi All
Last week I had the "Paintless Dent" guy come and deal to my
car, expensive but a good job. As a new MX5'r I'm amaized at
how little rust they seem to have.
Anyway when I pulled the plastic inner guard from the front
wheel arch there was a big build-up of dirt and leaves in
the sill area between the front wheel and the door. This
will get wet and hold water inside the guard & sills. So
perhaps worth a clean out if you have time (even for the the
green cars
You probably don't need to remove the whole inner guard,
just pull the front wheel off and undo the first half dozen
screws and peel back the plastic. Be careful though, if the
plastic seems stuck at the bottom, there is a small screw
underneath. The other option is to try and vacuum it all out
from the gap at the front of the door, although a big
improvement I don't think it will get it all.
Cheers
