Fuel Light

Post by Shane Constable » Thu Jun 10, 2004 6:02 pm

Hi everyone,
We have a 1998 1.8 MX5. I have never let the car run out of gas and would like
to know if they have a light which comes on when getting low on fuel.

I've got the same question about my '91 1.6... it looks like there's a
light of some sort above the fuel guage... but I'm chicken to run it
low enough to see if it is a low fuel indicator... or not... can any
one 'illuminate' me on this one?

There is no low fuel light that I am aware of on Mx5,s, Miatas or Eunos
Roadsters.

Cheers Janet and Jeff.

That light above the fuel gauge is the rear demister light - useful if you
have a hardtop with a demister.

The light you see above the fuel guage is the hardtop demister "ON"
