If it's engine oil you're after ...
Redline synthetic ~$130/4l (1 US gallon actually)
Amsoil synthetic ~$60/4l (ditto)
Mobil 1 ~$60/4l
... the latter SuperSyn has had some v.good reviews at
the usual oil-geek sites, of course they're all
overkill for most people!
how's the timing bump?
cheers,
Jeff
redline oils
redline oils
Hi
thanks for the info. I'm only after oil for my gearbox and diff, and it seems that redline is the best way (although not necessarily the cheapest :0(
The timing has made a lot of difference...but not as much as your changes! The uptake and throttle response is improved, and the car just feels a little more lively. I still need to improve the breathing, but that's a little way down the line yet (more overtime needed).
I'll see you at the AGM.
cheers all
