Broken Wing Mirror.. HELP!!! In case you can't sleep

Hi

In case you can't sleep with the excitement... I go the retaining ring (??)
off OK. So thanks for the help. Had so much paint I really didn't think it
would come off.

Hi Gazza, I forgot to mention ( no old age jokes please) that I drilled a 3mm
hole through the body of the mirror, its fairly obvious by the rust marks &
countersunk the hole on the inside to aid the drainage . After painting you
are not even aware that a hole is there. Hope that is useful.
