car runs so much better with this modification.
I used the Cutler hammer switch which means no cutting of the cigarette lighter
hole . Cutler - Hammer are represented in Auckland and are in the phone book.
Cost of switch and relay was $90.00
Cost of engraving START on the button $12.00
Not being too confident playing around with wiring I took the details from the
net and went to Avon Auto Electrical . Got absolutely ripped off financially but
he did the job OK.
Charges for labour $185.00 Took 1.5 hours to do the physical work and I was
charged the rest for "researching and reading "
That's about 100 bucks for reading 2 A4 pages
And that was the price for cash
Moral. DON'T USE "AVON AUTO ELECTICAL" of Christchurch.
