Me too I've just been to lazy up until now to do anything but with
hundreds of duplicate e-mails its starting to become annoying and as you
stated, it's not every single e-mail that's duplicated...

Could be people are hitting "reply all" in O Express instead of just
"reply"? that will send a message to the sender plus one to the list. which
includes the sender...

My personal bet is that it is connected with the Xtra problems. My business
has been suffering these problems for two weeks with double posting, delays
of over a day, emails to us being bounced back, attachments being droppped
off and some forwarded emails ariving totally blank.

Xtra appear to have installed spam and virus filters which, while they offer
Telecom a marketing benefit, are not up to the job. This is the second bout
of disruption we have had and it is, quite frankly, extremely injurious to
our business.

When I advised Telecom of all this they said that the delays should only be
of up to 48 hours duration and they could give no indication as to when the
problem might be resolved. I advised them that I would be changing ISP's and
suggesting to everyone I knew that they do the same. I changed ISP's
yesterday and the problems no longer exist. If you want the name of the new
ISP contact me in person, as I would hate to be told off for mis-using the
list!

While I am ranting, building work on the site next door has made our shared
driveway so muddy that I wouldn't take the MX5 out even if the weather were
good - would take forever to clean. And slippery concrete on a 1 in 5 slope
500 metres long isn't much to look forward to either...

On the other hand, I did receive the most wonderful chocolate MX5 for
Easter - anybody seen these? Haven't photographed it yet but when I have I
will let you know...

I recieve double emails periodically also. There doesn't seem to be any
pattern to it and doesn't occur frequently so it never bothers me really.

Yeah. I guess it is not as bad as the woofters who have auto answer on their
mailbox to notify everyone they are away . As if I care . LOL
