Nina, where on earth did you get that lovely line re the grenade? I heard
something very similar, as a spotty youth learning to chuck the infernal
things in Waiouru in the mid 60s, and I have never forgotten it. I know,
having met you at Ardmore, that you are not that old!

I also recall being told that B36 grenades had chunks like Cadbury's
chocolate bars, because "there is a piece for everybody"

Regards

It's from the book of Armaments.
Armaments, Chapter Two, Verses Nine to Twenty-One.

Hehe, it's from one of my favourite movies, Motny Python's Holy Grail.
Absolutely priceless ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And the Lord spake, saying 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then
shalt thou count to three. No more no less. Three shalt be the number thou
shalt count and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou
not count nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to
three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be
reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe,
who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'
Yeah I remember that Eric, In the 70s at Waiouru it was- they are like a
Cadbury bar because there's a piece for you and a piece for me.
