As I understand it, the official line is, " The Ibuki is a concept which is
not intended for production, but may reflect trends for the Mark3 MX5"

Frankly, I am not too sure about it. What makes the NA so good is the
classically proportioned lines and it's absolute simplicity of form. I know
we had a couple of contributions on this topic a week or so ago, and I am on
the side that says that Mazda lost it slightly with the NB, still a nice
looking car though. I would not want to see that go too much further.

I would hate the MX5 to finish up as just another futuristic looking
"fashion accessory" car.

As my old maths teacher would say "quad erat demonstrandum" or if your prefer. "It proves what I was saying"

I think he might have failed you for putting quad not quod - unless the Ibuki
is 4WD? It's ugly enough for anything...

Oh, it's your turn to be pedantic! That makes a change from me doing it!

What I really meant is that it proved it four times over!

Well how about this for the New Mx5, with a little less chisel effect around
the nose and a power bulge in the bonnet it would be perfect... It
would even look like a NA hahaha
