You can install the ENTIRE dash, door skins, centre console, steering wheel,
seats out of an 98->2005 model MX-5

This has been done in Japan and also here in Australia (without the airbags)

You'd then need all the wiring looms and ECU from an NB, all the airbag
sensors , airbags etc ..

After you went to all that effort and cost, then you should have just
upgraded to an NB model anyway.

Itbs been proved countless times that a pair of firm headlights is more preferable than a droopy set.
