Gidday Glenn

First congrats on getting the cert and hey, I'm rather amazed too about the
insurance not being any dearer. Go AMI!

Re the far out orange MX5, I like the pop-up twin headlights, the colour
scheme, the flared guards and the interior (what I could see of it anyway) -
but have to agree re the wing (just looks a bit too tacked on) and the 18"
wheels - yep - definetly 16's would do the trick, even drop an inch to 17's
maybe. The 18's just simply look way out of proportion to the size of the
car - and wouldn't contribute to comfortable handling or ride in a car so
light.

Otherwise I like it - quite a bit actually!

Cheers

Yes, I quite like that, I actually do not have too much of a problem with
the wing, or the wheels, in the context of the look of the car, I don't know
that the aerodynamic effect of the wing would be much of an advantage and
I'll bet the ride is hard as hell, It probably looks better than it handles.

I do like the "colour keyed" interior and the carbon fibre look fittings.
The instrument panel is neat too

Did you scroll down through the comments as far as the silver car with
purple stripes, that's another stunning piece of kit!

Do you not think that a set of clear tail lights would do a little for the
rear of the car, It actually looks quite "stock" as it is, but that colour
is fabulous!

It actually looks pretty similar to the Mini 17" S-spokes ... which
are the same PCD as MX5s ;-)

interesting comment on superchargers.
In my experience they (not AMI in my case) only concerns about year, mileage
and some major mod and aftermarket parts that could attract thrift.

The sum insured will be largely calculated by year and mirage and original
retail cost ( may be some more facts), and I often find that sum can not
rep;lace the car if unfortunate was happened.

But if we ask more sum, the premium goes up accordingly...
