The List Admin Answers (LONG) Re: emails vs forums: GET A

Having just had a look at Miata Forum to see how it actually works...I
still prefer the MX5 List as it is. My inbox is set up to send all MX5 mails
straight to their own folder and this works just fine for me.
My vote - leave things as they are please!
And thanks zorruno I think you do a GREAT job!

Im sorry but i dont agree that forums are slower than
mailing lists...
look at the last few days... over 50 emails on
basically two topics. If i tried to open EVERY SINGLE
reply it would take forever on my 56k conection.
whereas if it were a forum id have 1 or 2
threads/topics that had all 25 or so answers on 1
page...much faster and i can scan each answer.
As it is now i often only pick a few answers or
comments out and get a bit of a summery.
We all appreciate your efforts zorruno so dont take it
as any sort of attack on what we have thanks to your
hard work, its just there are severeal people who
haunt the other big forums and find it much easier to
use and find imformation on especially the search
functions..

I find the Vbullitin and phpbb forum formats very easy
to navigate.
