I had just put a question on this auction asking if it was Bill.

Interesting...He wants clarification on what the MX5 list is. In his reply
to Gazza, he knows of the list. Must have a short memory. You could always
become his flatmate. Just check his other listings.
Fun reading!

Just read his responses, if this aren't Bill then Bill needs to meet
him, sounds like a long lost twin to me!!!

Maybe they were separated at birth...

If it is Bill, he can expand his "Consulting Group" to include an "Insulting
Group".

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Hi guys,

Sorry, I'm new here. Is Bill Rehm someone to look out for?? Surely the
auction is just a troll?

Hi Peter, and Welcome!!

Unfortunately the auction does not appear to be a troll.
You can find out yourself about Bill, lets just say he is one of our
more "eccentric" older members =)

Hope to see you at a club day soon!

Surprising that TradeMe let that auction go as far as that? That guy really
has a "small d..." syndrome and lots of anger in his tanks.

Of course, everyone may be jumping to conclusions, and it's not Bill after all.

Why would Peter want to come to a club event with all the back biting going on? He might be next, if he's not flavour of the month...and Heaven help him if he turns up in a BRG car.

cheers all :0)

I happen to like BRG cars!!! =)

And I think it has been said that it might not be Bill, but if it barks,
bites and wags it's tail, more often than not it's a dog!!

Peter, we are not a back stabbing group, our events are a huge amount of
fun with people just out to enjoy their cars and good company, don't be
put off.

Oh what a bummer

I just had a look through the list of questions and answers and a bunch of
them must have been deleted by TradeMe... Including mine :-(

for those of you who have not had the pleasure it's on...

http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/auct ... d=44113616

Some of the best 'undeleted' answers so far include...

-people who can't give advice like a wanker such as yourself!

-That's not how the NZ Police see it mate ... oh yes they have been
notified and are on to what you call "genuine question askers" ...

-BTW my background: legal - criminal law ...

I feel some of the best would have been deleted by TradeMe.

My question was...

-Would be keen to buy them, but I can see from your feedback and your
-comments so far you're a total knob. Maybe you should change your trader
-name to dishonest small Willie... ha ha

His reply to my question was

-Dear Gazza - You have reinforced what everyone already knows on the MX5
-list: you are an impotent and balls-less wanker!!! Yes I know this truth
-will no doubt be painful, however see the 'silver lining in the cloud',
-perhaps with 50 hours of therapy you may 'discover religion'

Hmmm... ha ha... hook line and sinker... It did make me laugh. But can
someone please explain the discover religion bit? I have discovered
religion... look on the official government records... I'm a Jedi.

But to be honest I did not see the photo on the profile (been removed) so
regardless of my suspicions I can't be sure it's Bill so unless people are
sure it's not good to jump on that band wagon. Mind you if someone can send
me something solid I'd be keen to enter more directly into the foray...

And to any new members, we all have a lot of fun here so welcome to the
list, most of it is productive and helpful and some is just fun. It's a
great car and social club with great people with diverse people of all ages,
personalities and opinions.

Ken... BRG... now I have lost all respect...

Gentlemen (I'm addressing this to the gentlemen on this list because I don't
think the ladies are participating in this thread),

Can I suggest that the saddest comment on that site is the one about the
writer's opinion of MX5 owners going downhill? It's starting to read like a
hairdressers' bitch-fest. This is not doing the image of the car, its
drivers, the list or the club any good. If I were on the club committee I
would be very upset at seeing what is going on out there.

If this is Bill he has a right to anonymity. If it isn't, he has the right
to be incandescent about his name, company and professional reputation being
used in this way.

I know it's hot outside so why doesn't everyone go out for a nice drive and
cool down - please?

Hi Simon

You are as usual the wise voice of sensibility and your point is correct,
this is what's great about our list, diversity and balance. Still for now
I'm going with - Poke fun, rustle some feathers, it's more fun. And I never
said it was Bill... although if the shoe fit's...

By the way read your magazine last week at a cafe (sorry didn't buy it)
quite a good read.
