Wheels and Tyres

In the words of a well known car engineer (both race and road) who has
modified a few MX5s in his time '" over wheel/ tyre an MX5 at your peril",
unless 'looks' are what you are all about, in which case I suppose road
holding and handling are of secondary importance. To my mind, a light weight
set of 15" wheels of the right offset (or as close to it) shod with the VERY
BEST TYRES available(195/50 or 205/50 max) would achieve the ideal compromise
93 1.8,intake/ex mods,Megasqirt PNP,torsen ,konis,GC coilovers,Nitto-01,cage,sparco seat,Schroth harness.

Talking of tyres can anyone tell me about Nan Kang tyres? They were what was
on my MX5 when I bought it and they seem to be O.K for what I think is a
cheapie Korean brand. Does anyone out there have them also ?
Cheers Doug
