Steering Colums Switch Assenbly.

Post by Trevor » Thu Jul 26, 2007 2:47 pm

I am looking for a steering column switch assembly for a 1997 1800, i.e. the unit incorporating the control stalks.

Does anyone know of a wrecker who might have one, or any other possibility? I have found plenty for the 1600 series, but none suitable for the 1800, which is different.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Yes, there is a particular reason. I have fitted a smaller much flatter wheel to permit a straight arm driving position and wish to modify the switch stalks to suite.

Thank you David, very much appreciated.

As it happens I had seen the item on Trademe, having considered that possible source. Unfortunately the car involved is a 1600. :(

Cheers, Trevor.

Thanks Gerry, much appreciated.

I did try MX5 Mart some time ago and experienced nothing but frustration. Even so I have sent another enquiry.
