Disabling Dynatron D7800 Alarm

Post by R LTD » Wed Jul 18, 2007 6:19 pm

I'm seeking advice about what is required to disable the alarm before disconnecting the battery. We will be overseas for a period and I intend to store the car and remove the battery.
Secondly what steps are required to reactive the alarm system once the battery is re-connected.
Thanks for any advice.

Do nothing, just take out the battery, Last time I went overseas, I didn't think I would need to take the battery out for the 1 month I was away, came back the car was completely flat, got jumper leads from my mate and ran the car fine... The alarm still functions like normal, I didn't lose the station presets on my radio etc etc...

Haha just remember that when modding the alarm LED to a blue one it uses a lot more juice than the Std red one :P
