Sequentail shift light

Post by warrior » Tue Mar 26, 2013 10:23 am

I have bought a sequentail shift light (why? beacause they are cool) and have a question about wiring it in. It can be plugged straight in the cigarete lighter but to be 100% accurate it needs to be hard wired in.

It only has three wires

1. GREEN: NEGATIVE
2. RED : POSITIVE
3. BLUE :COIL/ ECU SPARK WIRE

So the BLUE wire goes to either a coil or the ECU on a "wasted spark distributor-less"

Which one is a NA mx5? I am guessing the wasted spark system?

If if is does anyone know the colour wire I should connect it to on the ECU?

I hope this makes sence.

Have just pluged in into the cig lighter socket at the moment, set it up and it works great.
