D2 suspension and brakes

Hi all i have been told about the D2 suspension and brakes and was going to look into fittin them to my car 1990 NA 1600 and was wonderin if anybody has used them or knows of them all i know is that they are adjustable coil overs and the brakes are 4 pot calipers and they are purple in color any info would be much appreciated cheers for now

Don't knowq anything about them but before you make a decision on them check out if you need to get them certified. If they are height adjustable coil-overs they will probably need certification. Not sure about the brakes.

You do need certification for coil overs or brake calliper changes unless changing from to maybe a stock 1800 calliper. A cert ranges from $350 to $450 depending where you are.

I've never heard of D2. It sounds expensive to replace the brake callipers. Can you post a link to the web site please.

The D2 suspension are coilovers and will require a cert,

I have run 2 sets of these in Hondas and one set in a Nissan and really like them, never had any troubles and they are the brand i was actually trying to get for my MX5 but didnt want to wait for them, hehe.
I have also run D2 camber arms in my Honda and all the parts seem to be made well, i never had any trouble

Made in China,We have been offered them to sell on thru work,I would think they will look nice and shiney but quailty could be a issue down the track(3-4 yrs ?) as parts and supply.
They even offer 8 pot calipers !!.
Stick with known brands and you genrally can't go wrong .Some times cheapest can work out to be the dearest down the track when you can't get them fixed.
They will be a bit like the light alloy race jacks you can buy for $250,Seals wear out and small bits wear out,Take it to a hydroilc jack specialist,They laugh and you and you throw it away and have to buy a new one :(
(know this from experience)
For brake upgrades go either 1800 setup or Willwood if you can afford it .
This is just my opinon for what it's worth,There are plenty of people that will know more than me,that have been thru this.
I have been thru their China website and the stuff looks cool i must say.
