Hi there,
Just wanted to ask around for some opinions on getting a set of D-Window steel rims for my 92' na mx5. I like the idea of how well they'll fit and getting a little bit of stretch tyre look going but I'm conscious of the weight difference between mag wheels.
Any opinions/advice is much appreciated

NA''s are very sensitive to wheel/tyre weight, as you are aware.
This is particularly so if the shocks haven't been replaced recently.
I don't know how much a 15x8 D window weighs, but it it's anything more than about 7kg, I'd be very cautious about using them. The NA was designed for a 4.5kg wheel

The previous owner did a bunch of suspension work, Bilstein Shocks/Springs etc. Yeah, I just don't like the fitment it has on its current rims (16x8 16x7 ? Rays Volk Racing Cv pros, forged really light). The rims/tires sit a good 10mm inside the guard but I'd rather change rims and not have to use wheel spacers.
