XXR 002?

Post by REDBEN » Thu Dec 06, 2012 10:45 pm

Does any one know where I can find a set of XXR 002 in 15x9 and 15x8?

Have tried LSD but they have no stock left :(

Do you want to buy them from a store in NZ? Because I'm pretty sure it's far cheaper to order a set from 'MERICA and have them shipped over: http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-002-Wheel ... 259083.htm

I have but they don't have the 15x9 for the rear and still cheaper getting them from the states than from here. $745 NZD Landed which is pretty un beatable. :D

You do know that staggered width on Mx5 is not optimal right? (and would save you money and hassle by the looks....)

I'm not planning on going around any corner's initially, the car is being setup for drag, but I will be getting another pair later down the track.

As Mad Kiwi said, I'd probably go for 9"s all around, to save you the hassel later on, not to mention it'd be easier to sell than a staggered setup if you decided they weren't for you!

All overseas cars, would you be able to get a WOF with the wheels sticking out like that in NZ?

In terms of wheel widths and stagger etc, I have been talking to Emilio from 949Racing.

He said said that the 9" wide wheels front and rear are the best for overall performance (circuit racing) and whatever offset the 6UL wheels (+33 or thereabouts from memory) will fit as long as you have aftermarket (thinner) shocks, otherwise at lock they hit......

So that is what I am saving up for.....
