Wanted: steering wheel puller

I cant for the life of me get my steering wheel off my car, it is a bit crooked and it is driving me crazy! Does someone have a steering wheel puller I could borrow? Please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy to travel to pick it up and will drop it back when finished. Cheers

tryed the normal stuff.......pull, twist, swear etc. Done plenty of wheels before but this one is stuck firm. Can buy wheel pullers from supacheap but dont want to just to straighten the wheel

Has it had a wheel alignment recently? if so get them to sort it, if not its time you had one.

either the wheel aligners will do it for you or if you want to take it off yourself just loosen the nut but leave it on (otherwise you will punch yourself in the face) then pull back HARD wiggle side to side if you need to.

yeah have tryed that a few times..........need to soak it in CRC I spose then try again.

I remember my one was stuck and it took much swearing, looking at the forums, swearing, looking again and eventually getting very forceful before loosening. Glad I didn't punch myself in the face though.

Was very hard not to chuckle amd hold a straight face when you were using I think it was a hammer and gave yourself a good wallop with the item last time you were working on my car...

maybe it was a spanner that slipped and got you clean in the mouth

Wait till the wheel alignment is done before you take the steering wheel off, as chance are it is the alignment that has thrown it out of wack. If you do it now, and then have the alignment done, chances are you are just going to have to pull it off and fix it up, as it will be squewed to the other side.

The worst alignment I have had was after my car was put back together, wheel was about 15deg or so to the left, after the wheel alignment it was pretty much back to the centre again.

Guys I did it! Got the wheel off today....lots of CRC , pulling and twisting!!!! Thanks for all the advice and offers of the wheel pullers. Just to let you guys know what you already do. This is a great forum and there are plenty of people willing to help out all the time, thanks.
