Lol, classic, don't know if there is 'hope' for you, but 'yes' the 195 semi generates a LOT more grip than the 225 T1-R, no comparison.

Maybe there is hope for my laptimes yet....(195x15 T1r's).....

Of course, else this'd be a Toyota Corona Forum!

I've gone and got a set of 205/50-15's fitted to 2 of the wheels for now, it'll probably fix the speedo error. Will be getting some for the other 2 wheels next pay when I can afford some slim wheel nuts as well.

My iPhone GPS and Link computer show the RPM at 100kph fell from 3,327 down to 3,085 so a decent drop in revs :)

Thats pretty respectable considering your wheels have a rather large rolling radius now. What does the speedo show when the gps is at 100?

That's pretty good. I was getting 110 on the speedo, 98 on the GPS with 185/60/14. Now I get 100 on the speedo and 98 on the GPS with 195/60/14 tyres.

Yeah it almost gave me problems when I had the new tyres put on and was cruising down the motorway at 115 on the speedo thinking it was 105... Not sure a police officer would've let me off
