Does that include the growth of the tire when you go down the strip...assuming they are proper drag tyres?

Wanted - Escort/Avenger steel wheels

I'm looking to buy/borrow two std steel wheels from an Escort/Avenger/Cortina etc. so I can move the car trailer around while I do some structural work on it.
Does anybody have anything lying around? Preferably Auckland area.

I've done 6 removals now for different people. Take it out together as one unit. Its far easier as the top gearbox bolts are a bitch to get undone. Its far easier then to change the clutch/flywheel/whatever then. Just be careful when you pull the engine out that you don't crush the pipes along the t...

Ok, sounding good. I'm going to hose out the heater thingy when I next get a chance. Bypassing it might be more difficult than I'd like (in terms of time constraints) but it's gotta be done to find out, I reckon. Sender unit worth investigating too. Guna pull the sensor off and see if it's clogged ...

Heater matrix! Right. How do I bypass it? Just bend the hose around? Then if that is the issue, how do I clear it out? You can take the hoses off that go into the firewall and join them together using an appropriate piece of copper tubing and hose clips. I bought a piece of high temp rubber hose an...

There is another radiator like matrix under the dash. Bypass this and see if that makes a differnce. (Its the two pipes going into the firewall on the right hand side when standing in front of the car). Becareful taking off the hoses as the aluminium pipes are very soft. I have a similar issue where...

I would get a wheel alignment, check tyre pressures and check the tune of the engine. That would be the cheapest option and give you a good starting point. Then look at other options from there.
