Monster Garage on Prime tonite 730pm

If anyone didn't see this, and wants to, I have it recorded on my HDD recorder

Letter to the Minister

Re: Letter to the MinisterMark,

Just a thought, should this be associated with the MX5 Club or is it a private
thing (either way would suitme) if it is a club thing, then probably we need
some input from the commitee

Tourists cutting corners

It has always surprised me, how few accidents we actually have with tourists driving on the wrong side of the road. Those of you who have driven overseas will know how unnatural it feels to drive on the right, particularly at intersections. But, since we are talking tourists and locating this discus...

Thunder Mustang, Titan Mustang and Spitfire Replicas

Thanks Mark, Yes, I am familiar with all of these aircraft, I just had not caught up with the fact that there was a Thunder Mustang operating in NZ. I know that they are a spectacular aircraft, in fact I think it is only in their service ceiling, 25000 ft, (because they have no blower) that they do ...

Speed Limits

Hi Tony, Thanks for your comments In fact the 90% rule is a reasonably well recognised principle, and you would note that my reference to 110 Km/h referred to "ideal conditions". There has to be an absolute limit for almost everything and most people of good sense will, de facto, arrive at about the...

George W Bush < Beware Rant enclosed>

I have been trying to restrain myself from entering this debate, my opinions are well known, however let me again state what I believe to be the underlying principle of good law, and that of course applies to speeding as much as it does for anything else, right up to Murder. Good law is that which 9...

Wanted to buy MX5

A lady friend of mine, finding herself in somewhat changed circumstances, needs to buy a small car and, having been in ours, would like an MX5. It would, ideally, be about 89-91to fit her price range and needs to be automatic, preferably in Auckland and in good reliable nick, as it will be a daily u...
