Red with tan roof North Shore area

While travelling into work on the bus this morning, I saw a Red series 1 with
Tan roof, parking light airvents on front and low lights, the fixed under a
clear perspex cover. Does any one know who the owner is as it looked like a
very nice car.

Don't ask why - my shrink has already been done that road. As the saying goes "Couldn't refuse the offer" it was either follow the wife or be left behind - oops may be I should have taken the 2nd option. Any way here we are in Auckland (Browns Bay) having moved up from Hamilton. So if any one sees a...

Best place touy an MX5

The Black 1999 is a 1.6l, 5 speed base model with absolutely nothing xtra. Started off on the Hamilton yard 12mnths ago at $33,000. They took off the original wheels and put on the 17" in the belief that it will make it a better car !!!. As a comparison, Wholesale cars direct had a gold 98 , 1.8, 6 ...

What a load of rubbish - shows how much sales people now abouy what they are
selling. All you need are the two studs that go in the chrome plates by the
boot. You can get them from Mazda Dealers - not very expensive at all.

Happy motoring.

Eunos Roadster badge colour, rain and tyres

Mazda changed the colour from black to red in 93 as a useful way of identifying that the car was a 1.8 rather than a 1.6. In 95 the colour was changed to green to show that the car had the further developed 1.8 engine. If you car is a 92 1.6 then the badge should be black not red, it must have been ...

If you have to buy new bearings they cost more than a fortune - sealed hubs not just bearings!!! still the size of the fortune depends on ones perception, I would rather have a return airfare to Aussy than have to pay for new wheel bearings. Another consideration is the new warrent regulations - alt...

Both statements are accurate. If the drain pipes Ross mentioned become blocked and water builds up it can find its way into the sills under the doors and if the drain holes in the sills are blocked you will get the sloshing sound. You don't need to drill holes in the sills - the drain holes are on t...

Hi Jeff, I have been looking at changing to tan for awhile and just waiting for the right car to come into our local wreckers in Hamilton. What is your car that has the Tan ? Being the owner of non NZ MX5's, the fuse cover in the drivers well is in

Try pushing the joint closer together. They can move. A good dose of
vasaline on the two surfaces of the joint is a good cheap solution.

My wife has just spent a week on holiday in Rarotonga, and guess what the rental car she hired was. A BRG MX5. The roof, when she finally got it up as it was rusted in place, leaked like a sieve, the door sills were full of water and the boot was not much better. But who cares when you are on holida...

(that's the store not the country) they are nice and light with grip on the
palm and fingers - an excellent glove. There is a store recently opened here
in Hamilton so will check out prices tomorrow for you.
