Alfa owners are also wavers, well those that own the older models, but many with the flash new Alfas don't bother. I have to be careful when I'm in the MX5 that I don't try waving to an Alfa :-) having driven Alfas and waved at them for years, its hard to break the habit when I see one even if I'm i...

Not sure what mods you have done, but we have just had discussions with AMI re putting in a roll bar. I have had a note attached to our policy saying when the roll bar is installed & once AMI have seen the paper work it will be approved with no change to our policy. When talking to the manager she i...

As the current editors of the AROC (Alfa Romeo Owners Club) mag we know just how difficult it is to get something out the door each month. We rely on members to contribute interesting articles on time! Topdown has plenty of reports of happenings round the country, and that's what most people like to...

I'm with AMI agreed value $9500, no claims 60% and $250 excess
Premium is $270.20 I don't recall them asking if the car was alarmed,
however it is.
We're at Paekakariki - a low premium area obviously
--- nothing to do with our over 50 status
Cheers Joan H

Yep, fair comment Mike! Trouble is, I'm one of those annoying blighters who likes to get to the bottom of little technical issues such as this one, and sort out what's rumour and what's real ... but indeed a man can get carried away with it sometimes. Still, if getting to the bottom of it saves me f...
