Japanese

Strange request, but does anyone on the forum know how to read Japanese or know of anyone that does.

Have bought a Jap import car, and it's AV system is throwing up what I think is an error message, but I have no idea what it is saying.

Whahoo, but my bastard child of a car can run it.

Might have to see whether the place in Greville Road has it, get the business to get a fuel card from them if they do, especially since there is a Gull next to Hampton's now.

Well, it seems I am still continuing on being screwed by those muppets at Mitchell Motorsport. Have got the diff out, and the diff bushes are perished or fallen apart, they are just some weird arse ones that the rubber isn't round, and shapped more like a two bladed propeller. Basically means that i...

If you want to know about larger BMC see the following link

I use a 2004 NB Sport BMC and booster running my 6 pots, and it made a huge improvement.

Put some drag tyres on (my phone is having a hissy fit trying to upload photo's to flickr, so hopefully will post some time later), and they kinda fit in the wheel arch. When I say kinda, they do as long as long as I don't move anywhere, as they touch the part of the guard at the bottom behind the d...

I think one of the big things was missed in a post, and that is a HANS device, or at least some sort of neck brace. If you need your helmet to protect your head if the case comes up that you are going to hit the tarmac in a car, it's pretty much lights out nurse whether you have a $10 helmet or a $1...

these guys if you just want an el cheapo helmet, doesn't meet MNZ standard.

If you want a MNZ one, it needs to meet the Australian Standard AS 1698

I guess so, I am just going off the Hoosier catalogue and their sizing. They are the Quick Time Pro D.O.T tyres, item number 17415. Here is the other little problem the Night Speed Drag wars say that can only run a D.O.T approved street legal drag tyres, and doubht you would be allowed on the road w...

Thanks, but 15x9 is going to be too big, as far as I can work out with my febble little brain, the tyres running on those rims would be about the equivilant of a 285 tyre, so might have a bit of problem fitting in the guard. The 15x8 tyre is about the same as a 255, so doable.

Desperate Cry for Attention

Right, now that I have got your attention, I am looking for a pair of 15x8 wheels. It turns out that I have completely cocked things up, and brought in a pair of 16x9 wheels for running Drag tyres on them for the Night Wars, only to find that the tyres are at least 6 weeks away from arriving in the ...

If they are standard, cheapest way is to grab a set out of an NB, or if you can find some out of the US, NB Sport (02-04).

As SLYDIT said, as decent set of pads make a world of difference, along with a flush of the brake lines and putting some decent fluid in there, and possibly a BMC rebuild.
