Woah those RPF1s are sexy 8) Didn't know they came is 16" tbh. RPF1s also come in 15s. Just comes down to whether the distributor will stock them. http://www.enkei.co.jp/wheels/racing/rpf1/ I bought my 15" RC T4s in from Japan because I couldn't find anything suitable in a 15 and the dealers just w...

As far as I am aware, that round flange that is mounted to the tank contains the gravity non-return valve.

The badges on the rear are pinned through the panel. I debadged the rear when I got the back patched up and it looks much better. Was going to fit some smaller badges from an NB but in the end decided against it.

Note: ignore the dodgy panel fits and paint mismatches.

Angreal, is that the one for 1.6 or 1.8/NA/NB sub frame. Wouldn't mind having a look at it at some stage before you fit it if that would be possible.

Another thought, if you are thinking about painting your calipers, do it while you have them stripped down. You still have to mask them up but it is a lot easier without the handbrake mechanism and the rubber boots.

Does anyone know anything about rebuilding brake calipers? My rear left one is jammed shut. Is it better to buy a new one or a rebuild kit? Reckon I can do it myself, with little mechanical knowledge? I have rebuilt a few rear calipers. They are not difficult if you have the right tools and providi...

Great day at the Sports Car Club autocross at Ardmore. 4 tests, 2 runs on each. 2 laps per run on the 2 morning tests and 3 laps each in the afternoon. The section of the runway used has a surface of very fine gravel which makes it a bit like driving on marbles, particularly on hard semi slicks. Goo...

Savebarn used to do one for about $250 but the seals only last for a couple of years.

Save that face palm until you find out what really happened. There is a lot of speculation and helpful suggestion being provided but until an engineer looks at it and determines what actually failed it is all just speculation.

Check the valve in the top of the tank that is normally connected to the charcoal cannister. If the hose has been removed it may be leaking a bit. When I removed the one from the TG I replaced it wih a blank aly plate and and new cork gasket and used Loctite 567 on all the screw threads. Petrol will...

Chris, just being devil's advocate here, but did you have enough thread engagement between the studs and the lug nuts. If the wheel centres on your new wheels were thicker than standard then that is a serious risk. It is not easy to see from your photo of the wheels whether the lug nuts sleeve insid...

You may need to find some new discs as well as the MX5 disc is less than 10mm.

For a street turbo application, the 1.8 brakes front and rear should be more than adequate (with good pads). As they are a standard part they shouldn't need certing.

Must be a member of a MSNZ affiliated club, but you don't have to have a comp license.

Regs aren't up on the website yet.

I raped my clutch and tested out the Torsen Diff on the weekend. http://youtu.be/n7tNMFkoxaA But you did well in the process. All that time down on the skid pan must have helped. 10th overall out of about 30 entries. Results here http://www.sccnz.co.nz/assets/sm/upload/1i/2h/pj/fn/Microsoft%2...
