I am planning to spend about 8000 getting it here plus compliance on top. As far as I can tell, shipping alone is around 2500 or so

importing a car from japan

Does anyone have contacts in japan that are able to view/bid on cars at auction in Japan?
Or has anyone used any of the importing companies? which ones are better?

I would like to bring a new toy in and am planning to take advantage of the 20 year exemption rule

cheers

for cert the alignment MUST be within 30min of tolerance ie factory spec of -.5* then +/-30min then you can add 30 min to that so you must be within -1.5* and+.5*

unless you have a motorsport authority card, then you can have as much camber as you want

you could always convert your narrow band gauge with an LC1 if your gauges already match

you can ste the LC1 to have any output you like

i scraped all the writing off my lenses when i had it stripped for paint,
dont go as course as 240!
start with some 800 wet
then 1500 wet
then 2000 wet
then 3000 wet
then use a buff to cut them back and make em nice and shiney

its time consuming but looks nice in the end

There is a bracket on the down pipe to the gear box to take the weight of the turbo,
There is a flexi just behind that,

I'm at a loss, it never cracked in the four years i had it turbo.
