Sway bar end links and exhaust hangers.

I get really annoyed at US suppliers who seem to forget that our cars ar metric and continue to manufacture parts for them using imperial hardware. The endlinks are a case in point. Supplied by Moss, the threads are all imperial.

I got my top up from Christchurch using Bascik Transport. They blanket wrapped it and it was fine. In laws recently used Star in Onehunga to ship stuff from Auckland to Cromwell with no problems. They have also used Mainfreight to transport stuff to Cromwell. As long as it is properly blanket wrappe...

Just a small point, Mazda recommend that you replace the hub nuts with new ones. Not sure why but may have something to do with the damage caused when they peened into the keyway.

The later MZR engines are 2.0 or 2.5 litre and are basically the same as the Ford Duratec. Most of the common ones that are available will be for front wheel drive installations unless you get one from an NC MX5. I think the main problem with this option is that the bell housing is different and als...

And if you are going 1.8 then go for the 99/2000 engine as a minimum (includes JDM 1998). For a good reliable normally aspirated 1.8, you will probably spend as much as for a 1.6 but end up with more torque and more power (and more fun). But don't forget to factor in the aftermarket computer and a g...

Finally got around to fitting the NB rear subframe (that I got from Donovan months ago) into the TG. Differences with the subframe braces and exhaust mount meant it wasn't just a cut and paste but it is all in now. Unfortunately the fitting of the PPF brace will have to wait. (if anyone wants a ppf ...

ADL can supply them as well. Not sure about the repco kits, but the ADL kits come with grease, replacement circlip, boots and a new hub nut. Only slight issue is that the hub nut on the ADL kits is 32mm and the original Mazda one is only 29mm. If you are going to do them yourself you will need a tor...
