The CAS seal is an O ring. There is a saddle over it with 2 bolts into the head. You don't need to take it off completely but it is a lot easier if you loosen it off a little. Be carefull to mark the position of the CAS with a Sharpie or similar so that you get it back in the same place to retain th...

2 possibilities, the seal on the CAS or there is no sealant in the corners of the cam cover gasket where it rises over the CAS.

I may be wrong but I think that the the non US (or at least JDM) NBs have a run a fuel return. Certainly the fuel rails on the 2 99 heads that I have, have a return line from the FPR on the fuel rail. Kieran, I would suspect that your 98 would be the same spec.

The charcoal cannister vents into the intake via a solenoid valve controlled by the ecu. However there is also a vent off the top that ends up in the inside of the front cross menber.

No. It is a standard Silverstone 91, 1.6 that got shunted in the back by some little prick in a Trueno/Levin. It is still at the panel beaters but I can't complain too much because it is not costing me much.

Slowly getting my NB rear subframe back together.

New wheel bearings, CVs, Energy bushes, stainless lines, new discs. Will be getting a 4.3 torsen in it.

To go in my 91 when I eventually get it back.

Caliper bolts needed

Am in the process of rebuilding a rear subframe and have just discovered I don't have the bolts that hold the rear calipers to the uprights.

Before I go chasing off to Ross or Brownie, would anyone in the Auckland area have a set they don't need anymore.

Assume that you mean the side seals. The pinion seal is a major piece of work.

There was a slight change so could be MA02-27238 or MA02-27238A depending on year.

I have been using some I got from BNT, part No 400408N. The last ones I bought about 12 months ago retailed for about $6.50.

Most garages could do it. If you are able to remove it and replace it yourself, you could try The Cylinder Head Shop in Glenfield and get Gary to tidy up the ports while he has it.

If you still have the bits and they aren't too smashed up, they can be araldited together stoping it rattling for a while. I haven't tried taking mine off since doing that though.

Aus customs can also be an absolute PITA when trying to import a vehicle. You are probably better off selling here and buuying another over there.

While I agree that the classifieds are the best place, I don't have any objection in principle to the thread however it would be better if the communication between the interested party and the vendor, in this case Mazline be kept to PM or email. That way the thread would be easier to follow as it w...

I'm not sure of the bleeding arrangement on your calipers but my Wilwoods have a bleeder for each piston. If you have air in a piston, it would reduce the pressure on that part of the pad causing uneven wear.

Do you mean the fluid level? If so, could be pad wear if you've been working them hard and there are no leaks.

That thread I sent you on the master cylinders also discusses the various options for servos.

If you have undone one of the pivot bolts for the suspension arms, it is best just to nip up the bolts/nuts, lower the car and drive it round the block and then, while it is still on the ground, torque up the pivot bolts. If you can't get at the bolts to torque them, put the jack under the bottom ar...
