reasonable shipping for wheels?

yep, going with a2logistics.  Mainfreight was the duff quote, tho I think the TM seller entered some bad numbers or something. Wheel options and stuff

lots of (slightly)accessible wheel prn in the yahoo jp auction site ... I was ogling some TE37s there (again!)  via nzhondas' moonlight racing forum just the other day. I actually liked the feel of the factory BBS (forged) wheels best, even over 15x7 TE37s. Playful vs planted.  YMMV... On 6 August...

reasonable shipping for wheels?

Hey guys, I'm aiming to move some wheels from Nelson to Auckland for a reasonable price.

Anyone know a decent option? First quote is $177 , depot to door... :p .. was expecting about half that, TBH.

Thanks in advance!

closest I can think of is Vary:  http://vary.co.jp/wd/na_bonnet.html , tho Blackbird might;ve had something similar too. Yeah Howard (aka Zorruno) hosts it and is uber-administrator.  The other "admins" can just edit/delete/move posts basically. ie no banning ...! If you PM Zorruno he'll see it. sounds like you a/ have quite a bit of positive camber there and b/ aren't cornering very quick ;) Its probably had one of those 5 min tyre shop alignments where they just get it "in factory tolerances".  But if you try one of these  http://www.miata.net/garage/align.html it'll feel quite differen...

Mazda mx5 1991 - BZ8G Supercharged

Sounds like a good foundation to build it up! The 1600 and 1800 bore spacing is different, so manifolds there aren't interchangeable, tho a BP one should fit on yours... but a Familia manifold points the other way to a mx5 one.    Mine made "only" ~220 rwhp but was a quick wee beastie ... something ...

Plugs for supercharged car

IIRC - smaller gaps are for where you'd have trouble sparking with a bigger gap.  Iridium/platinum  sparks more easily than regular plugs, so I'd not make the gap any smaller unless absolutely necessary. If you're still running a wasted ignition (ie stock) one of each of the plug pairs will be firin...

2014 Meet time!

At least at the commercial level these are popular too ... we've seen a few videos (at the insurance company office) from truckie-cams of accidents because of suicidal motorists doing dumb stuff , like blowing through stop signs at rural 4-way intersections causing rollovers etc. On 8 February 2014 ...

Idle

I'd think as long as its not stalling its not practically a big deal. The higher revs are mostly to heat up the engine and catalyst faster. ie economy/emissions related. If your car is a Toyota, they seem to be programmed to idle crazy high (4a-ge ... nearly 2k rpm!) when cold. On 23 January 2014 19...

I reckon the dearest WOF is the one where you take it to that cheap/convenient place and they ding you on questionable things that cost $$$ to fix.    A $50 VTNZ/AA WOF is relatively cheap in that case ... :D On 14 January 2014 22:47, 4A-GE <mx5talk@mx5forum.co.nz ( mx5talk@mx5forum.co.nz )> wrote: ...

The value is in adjusting AFR to where it should be - that's pretty limited with a stock ECU altho you can do things like twiddle with the AFM tension, fuel pressure . The wideband "narrowband" output should at least be more reliable reading-wise than a real narrowband, as NB relies heavily on tempe...
