Put the roof up, its RAINNING....YEAH RIGHT
Just keep the speed to 70miles and you're safe :-) Quoting Mikael Bjornstjerna <bjornstjerna@online.fr> on Thu, 20 Oct 2005 09:57:48 +0200: True, the rain is no problem. The first time it hits you it's a nice surprise that you don't get wet and the next time it's just fun, even if other drivers thin...

Mx5, masculinity and hairdressers...........................
Same experience here, 2 of my friends drive Porsches in Belgium: a beautiful Porsche 911 Speedster 1989 Turbolook and a 'standard' Porsche 911 Convertible. They both were surprised by the nimbleness (?) of the 5 around a curvy road, and certainly after I installed the Greddy. Everybody is misinforme...

Mx5, masculinity and hairdressers...........................
At some stage we put a basket with hair products and a hairdryer on one of our Irish friends passenger seat... we thought it was funny, the friend didn't think it wasn't such a great idea but we had a good laugh. But (with capital B) in Dublin we had to show what our hairdresser's car was worth. At ...

Number Plates in NZ
Mmmmh, I have the reflective numberplate too on my Belgian car. Maybe you can do the Irish trick: you have the holes in the front bumper, and you have the appropriate front number plate... in the boot. When the cops pull you over you tell them the plate just dropped off the day before or so and that...

Can you have a sticky number plate on the front or do you HAVE to use the metal one you get with the registration? I am asking 'cause in Ireland they cannot use a sticker as the number plate, in Belgium we can... Cheers WiM '91 1.6 MX-5 GT :-) www.mx5ireland.com www.cardomain.com/memberpage/312875 *...

Overheating
removing a theromstat is fairly easy, it requires new coolant fluid afterwards tho'. Maybe another question: has the Coolant Temp Sensor on top of the thermostat housing been checked? I had that one failing on me and my radiator was boiling over too... Check the thermostat first with the boiling wat...
