that doesnt look bad at all. windscreen is intact. Sill looks untouched. so unless theres serious unseen damage to the A pillar low down , it looks like a door and gaurd.

if it does get written off , its gonna make an awesome base for a race car.

if you are going to change pads, get some new rotors too. standard rotors are fine. some pads dont like old pad material on the disc so you dont get the best out of them. (carbotech are one such example) a brake bias valve should be the first mod if it doesnt have one already...mx5's have too much f...

Also returned my Fusiom head deck to Hyper. I have had some issues with it so swapped it over for a better unit from Sony. Now i can also play my CD collection as well as having 'MODERN' input options.

That are self tuning... you simply load the base setup then set the afr targets into the map. there plenty of reasonable spark maps on the forums. tuning a ms is no harder than any other ecu

Keep it where it is. the spray cools the charge air in part due to the pressure drop at the tip. having it further away from the cylinder just heats it up and increases chance of pooling

there arent many "bargains" and there isnt that many around...budget $900-1300 for a hardtop depending on condition and fittings (frankenstien bolts are $100 a pair)

the NC suspension is the most criticised among enthusiasts for its ride height especially. while good in standard trim, the car can be transformed in both ride comfort and performance by nice set of ohlins for example.

get the 2 liter model which has a better spec. also make sure you replace the radiator water overflow bottle asap as they have a tendency to crack and you lose the pressure out of the cooling system and then overheat the engine. the '05-'06 models will be coming up for a soft top replacement very so...
