LVVTA cert plates

I was wondering if any members here who have gone through the certification process on their cars could post pics of their cert plates?
feel free to black out any personal information, I am just curious to see how much specific information is posted on the plates.

thanks in advance

A 225 45 is going to be a big ask on the front. Offset will need to be spot on and maybe some trimming of the bumper and liners to clear on lock. (Depending on ride height) I run that size on the rear with no problems but would not think it would go easily on the front. in the front I am running do...

Thank you for the feedback but after careful deliberation, considering I would not be adjusting the height (due to the -/+5% restriction placed on LVVT certed cars) I have decided that my most cost effective option would be to stick with my Bilsteins and Dobi sport lowered springs as to do coilover ...

aaahh ok, thanks for the heads up. I already have flares which I will be putting on and although I am disappointed to hear that Falkens are no longer legal in the smaller widths (mainly due to 225's being noticeably more expensive in 15") I genuinely appreciate the warning as at least now I can shop...

Regarding the ride height, anything above 100mm is OK while adjustable suspension and going below 100mm require certification (this 100mm is from the ground to the bottom of the actual chassis) -=edit=- and when you cert your adjustable coilovers, they get certed for the height they are at the time ...

When I get flown around to other ports in NZ for my job, they usually get me a Toyota Corolla or a Camry rental car and they are both cars I would recommend (I usually get 2013/2014 models as I am not high enough up the food chain to warrant a 2015 model)

I would love to take one for a test drive but I cant ever see myself owning one. Here in NZ they will most likely be noticeably higher but that doesn't surprise me, I guess I am acclimatised to us having to pay through the nose.

After a little deliberation, I think that ad sums up MX5 ownership and I will always be thankful for choosing to get one as not only did I get a car that makes me grin every time I drive it, but without it, I would not have had the honor of being a part of this community and having the good fortune ...

Well, I have splashed out and bought some XXR002's off tardme (inc shipping they came to $905) and they are the same as the ones in Mrjstars pic but mine have black centers instead of gunmetal grey. I could have imported them for cheaper but for the sake of piece of mind in case something goes wrong...

I went for an awesome drive today :) At the end of last week I picked up my car after 2low2c had converted it from auto to manual and today I changed my front springs over to some dobi sport and put my car through some nice tarsealed back roads to bed the springs and had a lot of fun :) It honestly ...

I was getting a bit of sagging in one of my front springs, so today I had some Dobi sport replacement springs arrive to replace the teins I had on the front. http://drivenperformance.co.nz/assets/dobi_springs.jpg installation went fine and they seem to feel a little more comfortable (although that m...

Well, last week I gave these pedals and parts a clean up to remove some very minor surface rust and gave them a lick of paint http://s4.postimg.org/nk3c28hrx/2015_04_16_16_37_38.jpg And today I removed my passenger seat and played parts tetris fitting everything in snuggly in preparation for my tiki...

Fair enough angreal, but up here in northland they are pretty crap. Specifically, I drive from whangarei to marsden point for work and because the government can't free up the required $$$ for a rail link to marsden, we have over 30 double trailer logging trucks carting logs to the port every day (e...

Purchasing HSD Coilovers advice

Now this is all preliminary research, but from what I have been reading, for general street use on the crappy NZ roads, HSD coilovers would be my best option for my car. I was wondering what the best source to get a set would be? from initial browsing, it would seem that a set bought in NZ would set...

awesome purchase SKREEE, I would love to see some photos of it installed :) It looks very nice, I love the old school retro look of those. Teamjelly on the forums here would be a good person to chat with Skreee :) From my reading, it seems like a T4 is very commonly used in mx5's to great success, they seem to be an almost ideal size for most peoples needs. From the advice I have been given (by those who know far more than I), megasqui...

What size tyre are you running on 8" rims?

hello again :) I am looking at some 8" rims and was wondering what sort of tyre people are using on them and what they look like fitted (the tyre on the rims I mean) if anyone has photos. I gather that for a LVVT certification they need to be 225 wide unless they are a specific brand (I think firest...
