Higher engine capacity - stroker kit - at the moment I am running a safe-ish 220 when everything is going sweet but with power goals north of 400BHP I think it is the easiesy way to achieve this. No need to stroke the 1800 BP engine to achieve 400HP more so if your aiming for 800HP...as for the GTX...

From Mazda? I think it's part HE01-66-830 that you're after, although the US price looks to be ~USD$90. If you're sure your problem is the flasher unit, this could be interesting http://www.miata.net/garage/turnsig.html Yep definately the flasher unit as I swapped this one out of my old MX that had...

Flasher Module
Hi guys, Just wondering if you anyone knows where the best place to source a flasher module close to home is? Or if anyone out there with a racecar no longer needs theirs I would be happy to make a deal. Always best to source closer to home and I would rather not have to order from overseas! Cheers ...

Will be good have another clean example floating around 8) Outside of my car isn't exactly clean (cleaner than Furai's though) :p Inside definitely is though but I guess I'...

She's now running! Turned out that my gbox was ok so I now have a spare to rebuild with stronger internals(If I ever find them!)! After everything I ended up replacing the ps axle as there was a bit of play on the inside joint connecting to the dif flange. Still have a little bit off a vibration com...

Wellington Area Meet??
I always feel a bit jealous when I see all these meets up North!!
Are there many Wellington based owners on here? If so would there be any interest in having a meet sometime before the weather forces me to buy a hardtop!
Just a thought.

Hi guys, Apologies for not getting back over the weekend - my laptop died and my phone wouldn't let me upload any images. So I took the engine mount off and have found the rubber to have completely seperated in two pretty much on the seem where the bushing attaches to the metal. I am waiting for ano...

When I tore the engine mounts it wouldn't like changing gear above 2500 although there were other issues with my car that also lead to this as well. I think you can just use a pry bar to check the mounts while it's on the ground? When you tore your mounts was if caused by launching? Cheers - someti...

bad engine mount will show by harder than normal gear changes and obvious clunking under heavy load. it is very very common for the left one to fail and the heat from your turbo and downpipe just makes it worse. you may not be able to get at it with the turbo in the way. you may have to try and jac...

sounds like the hard launch has torn your left hand engine mount. you can get better mounts from 949 racing in the states Damn I hadn't even thought of engine mount, I will check it out once I get home from work! What would the best way to check engine mount? Pry with a large flathead? Cheers Also ...
