Re: ND Model Review.... Courtesy fo Stuff.co.nz

My point is that even compared to the exact same model in aussie and exchangecrate nz is still 10-15% overpriced. you cant tell me it costs $5000 more to ship from japan to auckland than japan to sydney. The cost for a dealer to import a car is significantly lower than it would cost the average per...

just to chime in with the previous replies, the reflectors in the bumpers have no lights (although they do have fittings for them) and I personally have never had any problems getting a warrant for my car (and I painted my bumper reflectors black) Seems you just got an over zealous inspector, best o...

Windscreen Replacement

I was following a logging truck home from work the other night and had the misfortune of something getting flicked into the bottom part of the windscreen just above the wipers. Although it was not visible in the dark of night, upon inspection this morning I was disappointed to see that the impact ha...

yep, its pretty easy and fun :)
the only disadvantage to modifying existing seats with no speakers would be the effort of wiring them up (although I assume you would have the plug underneath each seat.

try unzipping your headrest and see what you have to work with.

Its worth noting that your ride height is supposed to be 100mm or higher to be legal (going lower requires an LVVT cert as far as I know)

For myself personally, hard top and manual are must haves.

And remember a car with a good service history and high K's is better than one with little to no servicing and low K's

My car was an auto up until recently (converted it to manual) and I agree that autos are ideal for stop/start town traffic. However, you are correct in your assumption that manuals are much more highly sought after as having the control over the changes and rev's unleashes the real potential of the ...

I feel that I have a generational advantage in that the job requires a lot of hand eye co-ordination and having played video games for the past 25 years, I find it much easier to adapt and use the controls of the crane as opposed to some of the older guys (40+). I too can drive pretty much all the w...

Just wanted to share my good news

After putting in a lot of hard work on the wharf for this past year, I received a call from the big bosses that I will be getting trained to drive the ship cranes which is something I have been after for a while now. Although the work will be more intensive (eg require a lot more concentration) it i...
