Clutch Judders

I got a 2002 NB which I bought in 2007. It developed an intermittent judder soon after I got it. As I didn't drive it much (done 30K since owning it) I kinda ignored it until this week when I took it into the shop to get a new Clutch kit fitted. I remember reading a SB on the Miata net about faulty ...

speed bleeders for brakes

Nothing new, I seem to remember putting something similar on my okd mk1 Zepher way back in the 70s, not the sme but the principle was. Very handy and turned the bleeding of the brakes into a one man operation. They were one of those tools that you could leave permanently installed and of course I did...

Replacing front fog light bulb on 2002 MX5

There is a service bulletin/recall on the miata net here http://www.miata.net/garage/tsb/index.html and look at EXTERIOR LIGHTING:FOG LIGHTS which is a recall for your model, it may give you an idea of how to get at the bulbs and the its just matter of getting the correct bulb and fitting it. Cheers...

Where is this 'Lemon check'? Could be useful. Lemon check can be found through the NZ AA web sight www.aa.co.nz and can be used to find out the history of a vehicle, similar to carfax www.carfax.co.nz . Both will charge you for a detailed report :( however I think carfax is a little cheaper and als...

Skams, As for your 'Overtyred' post I'm afraid you lost me when you stated "There is no more grip to be had with a wider tyre, it'll just hang on longer". That's one and the same isn't it? What I was saying about there is no more grip to be had is essentially right, the point of total loss of tract...

Hey Grant, this is Great. :!: I was always told that once you let the smoke out of something electrical, you could never put it back and the item was efectively carput. As the owner of a "high gloss" black top, I have to say that the yellow top should stay either in the garage, or on the yellow car. It looks bad enough on the blue one, but on the red.......yech !! Hi There cfever I have not long aquired a 2002 5 :D with 16" wheels which have unfotunately been curbed :( and detracts from its near mint condition. Depending on price I could be interested even with the slight curbing as it would give me the opportunity to get mine fixed (or yours) and not have to...
