But it didn't sound good, was unbalanced cause the speaker was so close to your head. So just went back to passenger with left + right rear, drivers ...

I thought each seat/headrest has it's own left and right speakers? At least that's how mine's configured. Would be more balanced I'd imagine.

What are the local options for changing the top hats on my BC golds so I can lower the car a little bit more?

Nick with the white NA6 told me of another way to lower the BCs more that doesn't involve swapping top hats, but haven't really looked into that option more.
