Where are you located? I'm out east and I have access to a gaurd roller, although I can't guarantee your paint not cracking. I've done quite a few cars, some crack, some don't, but the age of your paint probably has a bit to do with it. Like the S2000 and S15 I've done didn't crack, but the mx5's ar...

oops, didn't get a notification for this... The series 5 was well balanced, bit tired being an old mazda, and had some usual old-car problems (nothing major, but just annoying). Thirsty, but unique (and loud  ) Usual rotary traits; non-existant torque below 3000, engine vibration gets smoother ...

Slightly off topic, but.. from what I understand, the shocks in the coilover are matched to specific spring rates. A lot of coilovers have a specified tolerance to how stiff/soft a spring rate you can run. Usually +/- 2kgmm from whatever it comes with. Too stiff or too soft may lead to premature wea...

Slydit, where did you get the gfb one from? Also, I want to start adding a couple of gauges, boost being one. Any one recommend a good brand and supplier, I am lead to believe the supecheap and repco stocked ones aren't the greatest.....? I have a manual boost gauge, and since adding my boost contr...

As stated, a quality manual boost tap will hold boost well. The only times I can recall that my boost levels varied, were due to super cold nights, or hot muggy summer days. But that will happen regardless of electric or manual b/c. If you can afford electronic, it can offer many benefits over manua...

I'm not sure if you're referring to this one, but either way this has given me some good info in the past.

It can be specific to the year/model too, which is always handy.

NA6: Upgrading rear rotor + caliper from NA8
Hi everyone, I'm having a real hard time locking the rears wheels up on my na6 (probably due to below average pads). My question is, would upgrading just the rear rotor/caliper off the na8 + some decent pads + readjusting my brakelines allow me to lock it up easier? Is anyone able to lock the rears ...
