Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I cleaned out the pipes and drainage holes and the water is now flowing freely.
Many Thanks
John

Water in sill

On close insepction I found the sill was full of water! The water has since drained out. Has any had experience with this problem and com...

Roof Stitching
Hi All, The roof on our 5 has shrunk width ways! Meaning the roof no longer has enough "eve" to stop the water entering the gap between the window rubbers. An upholsterer recommended either sowing in a flap on either side, or replacing the roof. Is there a less expensive method for re-stretching the...

Maintance and updates
Hi All, Had a brilliant weekend in Betsy, we drove through the Akatarawa's to Waikane. A tight and windy drive with great views on the both sides of the hill. It took about 15 minutes longer than taking the main road from Stokes Valley over Hayward's Hill and up the coast. Lovely weather and went to...

Yes, we love heavenly bodies, especially topless ones! A common question at the observatory is can the telescopes see Oriental Parade. They are usually disappointed to find out we can't! The problem for a topless astronomy is its usually damn cold! The best topless observing I have had is in Raroton...

Hi All,
As an astronomer/educator I gather that I must in no way fit the
"stereotypical" hairdresser format. I agree that is usually envious
looks from the drivers of people movers that makes owning an MX-5 so
much fun!
Going topless rocks!
Cheers

Hi All, On another roof issue: The "rubber surrounds" (is there a correct term for these?) along the roof are perishing and are the source of my seating discomfort on wet days. Mazda (Wellington) quoted $270 +GST per side. Is there a supplier of these at a more reasonable cost, either in Wellington ...

New Years Greetings
Hi All, I hope you all had safe and happy holiday! First day back to work... Wading through all the paper work and e-mails from the last two weeks, over 200. The weather in Wellington has been good, topless on a number of days. Although a 75 year old mother-in-law with dodgy knees and set hair does ...
Hello
Hi All, Having just brought, or should I say the wife brought, a 1990 MX5. We have joined up to the MX5 club and I have joined up to the e-mail list. So I thought I better introduce myself! My name is John Field and I live/work in Wellington, maybe not the best city for an open top car! I work at th...
