Ad-posting queries please Re: Welcome to the MX5 Forum Classifieds Discussion Topic

Users MUST post a classified (Forsale or Wanted) in the Classifieds section (not here)", and secondly it says the opposite, "P...

MY MX 5 GONE TO A NEW HOME

G'day Gerry, We've got a '91 car and could be starters for your items below. However we're not familiar with either book, so wonder if you could comment please on whether they've got plenty of useful info for low-budget home-mechanics, and whether the performance book is all MX5 or is more general, ...

Yes zorruno you have done a great job and I know the majority of MX5 List
members really appreciate the time and effort you have put in.

Take a bow and put your feet up... you've earned it!

I have yet to take a look at the forum but hope the integrated mail feature
works for me :-)

Hi Dave & Pam here's an old email on the topic.. well on the whole caboodle really :-) Cheers Joan H It's brilliant stuff- I wrote a long piece about polishing MX5's in September last year, which is repeated below as it includes contact details/ costs. Have to say I haven't polished it since, but it...

Exhaust whistle and rough idling when cold

After all this, go for a long drive periodically slowing down, selecting second gear and taking it to the redline (on a quiet section of 100k open road) several times. It's well known that Jap engines, especially performance DOHC's, like to be driven hard every now and again to "clear the throat", e...

He doesn't like to be ignored...
Sorry, this group is "inert" when it even comes to a petrol company reducing
the Fly-buy points they can earn! I had more "well done" responses from people
overseas than from this list..

So why don't we all "not respond" to the PITA and maybe he'll go away

Broken External Door Mirror Needed

Obviously the mirror internals are a bit of a weak point. I have also had one
snap off..then looking at the other to see if it could be
lubricated...promptly snapped that one too. Ross at MX5 can sell you new
mirrors or repair the old ones for you at a very reasonable price...

I agree with you Kate. At first I did get a little amusement from reading Bill's OTT mails but they soon wore thin. I also would like to say a huge thank you to zorruno for the fantastic job he has done on the list and his attempt to try and and make it a better place (a Bill-less place ? :-) I can ...
